KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keep team members motivated and engaged while maintaining a positive atmosphere
- Foster an environment where the team can create and deliver features using the appropriate technologies within the defined scope and committed deadlines
- Serve the team by participating in, and guiding, the design, development, and implementation of operational standards that result in highly available, scalable, and reliable customer experiences
- Collaborate with team members to clarify requirements and overcome obstacles
- Represent the team in cross-team / domain meetings, discussions, and other interactions then facilitate collaboration efforts when the project dictates
- Set expectations and serve as an example for professional team conduct
- Coordinate troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production issues that are escalated to the team.
- Ability to run a development team leveraging current agile methodologies
- Support the team manager to maintain a steady flow of work
- For any challenges that arise, facilitate and engage with stakeholders to come up with a reasonable solution
- Actively contribute to execute and monitor the team's process improvement efforts.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Business and or equivalent qualification from a recognized University/ Institution
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a lead role or similar capacity
AREA OF EXPERTISE
- Sound knowledge in Spring and Hibernate framework
- Knowledge of microservices frameworks such as spring boot, Netflix OSS stack
- Ability to research and retrieve answers to complex problemS
- Knowledge of React/ React Native
- Embedded computer technologies
- Focused and willing to take responsibility and challenges
