We are on the lookout for a Trainee/Junior Biologist that performs at a world-class level, displays impeccable attention to detail, and consistently delivers with excellence.
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
- Develop and conduct research on the relationships of organisms in specific environments.
- Study characteristics of animals such as their species interaction, diseases, and movement patterns.
- Apply and implement the Biosecurity Practices.
- Ensure to follow the Acclimation & Quarantine Process.
- Ensure to follow the quality & sample checking for Incoming fish stocks from the suppliers.
- Follow two weeks Quarantine Process for shipments.
- Initiate & Ensure all Research and Development (R&D) projects are in line with Company strategic goals.
REQUIRED EXPERINCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Fresh Graduate in Aqua Culture or Marine Sciences or any relevant field
- Should have a sound knowledge in both technical and practical exposures in the areas of marine sciences and aqua culture fields
- Excellent communication skills in English both writing, and oral is a must
- Ability to communicate effectively and promptly Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the details regarding the allocated fish items
- Should be a team player and a technology- oriented person who is willing to work with the deadlines
- Excellent analytical and design making skills Flexible to work in 24/7 US time zone.
- Candidates residing in the Seeduwa area is preferred.
